Steps to reducing your clutter and opening your mind

Most have heard the saying "clear the clutter, clear your mind." Have you really thought about what that entails?  Think about your child's room when you first walk into clothes and toys all over the floor, I am sure that gets your blood flowing. Now think about the "junk drawer" overflowed with papers and stuff, this might not have the same initial effect, but it wears on your mind.

Research shows that women who described their homes as cluttered and stressful were more depressed than those who described them as restorative spaces.  

You can start with 1 drawer a day for 20 minutes. Make 3 piles, keep, toss, donate.  If you have not used the item in over 1 or 2 years, chances are high that you will not use it. Here's to a decluttered 2019.
